WHAT’S SO EPiC ABOUT IT?
EPiC is based on the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption, known as EPOC. EPOC is the afterburn effect that results from high-intensity training sessions that force the body to work harder to build its oxygen stores back up – for a period of 16 to 24 hours post-workout, research suggests. The result is more calories burned than if you’d exercised at a lower intensity for the same (or longer) period of time.

HEART-RATE SENSORS & LIVE ON-SCREEN READINGS
Working out at 80 to 90 percent of your maximum heart rate will deliver the greatest EPOC effect, and our program of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) is the best way to get your heart beating. By setting goals and monitoring your heart rate throughout the workout, you and your trainer will be able to ensure that you are getting the maximum impact from your training session. In addition, you get to take your stats home so you can take a closer look at what you’ve accomplished and how you’re progressing.

Our brand new Schwinn® I.C. Pro bikes with Cadence Pro consoles provide a smooth, efficient ride with complete user metrics including RPM, average RPM, heart rate, distance and calories.
THE ULTIMATE INCLINE TREADMILL
While standard commercial treadmills go to a maximum of 12 to 15 degrees of incline, our unique FreeMotion machines climb to an astounding 30 degrees. This allows you to achieve intense anaerobic intervals while keeping a joint-friendly, non-pounding, walking pace, if desired.
